ASKİ General Directorate, which meets the daily water need
of Ankara; It ensures that the people of Ankara use healthier water with the
water samples it examines in its laboratories equipped with the latest system
devices.
ASKİ Water Quality Control Laboratories were accredited by
“TÜRKAK” on 03.03.2009. Laboratory accreditation expresses high reputation both
nationally and internationally as a reliable indicator of technical competence.
In addition, laboratory accreditation provides reliable testing service to its
customers by providing official recognition of the competence of laboratories.
Thanks to the common approach used for accreditation, reports and certificates
issued by accredited laboratories are internationally accepted. samples are
checked and the results are sent to the relevant units. ASKI Water Quality
Control Laboratories; Chemistry Laboratory: Clean Water and Wastewater; It
consists of the Bacteriology Laboratory units.

Experiments are carried out on the controls of water samples
taken from focal points on a daily basis. In addition, all the experiments for
the regular and efficient operation of İvedik, Pursaklar, Çubuk and Kazan
Drinking Water Treatment Plants, the tests for the subscriber complaints, the
tests for the quality control of the groundwater, the tests of the unqualified
water from the relevant units of ASKİ, the dams and streams, raw water
resources. Water quality tests are carried out. In addition, quality control
tests are carried out for the materials (Lime, Aluminum Sulphate, etc.) needed
by the treatment facilities.
2- WASTE WATER
LABORATORY;
Experiments are carried out for the operation of our Ankara
Wastewater Treatment Plants. In addition, tests of residential and industrial
wastes of private enterprises, Ankara Stream, lake and pond waters are carried
out with the control of residential and industrial wastes in Ankara, upon
request.
B- BACTERIOLOGY
LABORATORY;
Bacteriological control tests of water samples taken from
focal points on a daily basis and of İvedik, Pursaklar, Çubuk and Kazan
Drinking Water Treatment Plants are carried out.
